you can get one from Animates, i think it costs about NZ$24, it can be used as a wing clipper as well. Can u ask the lady in the shop if it costs anything to trim Gary's nails by their vets? I'm not too confident to do it myself (I hurted my birds before) and sure you have less experience than i do... If its not too costly, it'll be better to get it done at the vets (at least Gary wont think that you are the mean one!). Ask them if Gary needs to be wormed as well; tell them that you bought Gary there and we have him since mid-Sept so that they can work out if Gary needs to be wormed or not (He might have been wormed before we got him).Sorry this is hard to explain, if you can wait i'll take him in when i come back. Otherwise ask the staff in Animates how to clip his nails...just please please please make sure you'll handle Gary properly...there's a certain way to hold a bird (and hopefully not getting bite...)
